Hello everyone! It's payday here at Yours HQ, so to celebrate we've kept our amazingly popular extra 20% off sale deal going, AND added 100's more items!

It's been a great few weeks for us in press, and it's great that magazines and newspapers are including us alongside less generously sized brands. Here's where we've popped up this week...

Sun Woman features one of our Limited Collection chiffon tunics in their fashion alphabet (we're C!)

Look Magazine included our super popular firework maxi dress, which is still available in certain sizes in our sale!
Closer Magazine felt our jewellery was perfect for a Hollywood Glamour wedding (the best kind, no?) in their latest issue.

And finally, Best included our gorgeous embellished blue maxi, also available in gold and pink!

Hope you have a wonderful weekend - and remember you can comment, tweet or facebook me!

Lots of love,

February Style Inspiration - Who's Wearing Yours?

Well hello there people! Hope you're all very well, and enjoying the last few days of our extra 20% off sale. We've also reduced hundreds more prices around the site as we love to give you a bargain!

As with last month, I love to show you pictures of women in the real world wearing Yours Clothing. It's great if you need a bit of style inspiration, and it shows just how versatile and flattering Yours' clothes can be on all different kinds of bodies! Here's my selection of gorgeous ladies wearing Yours this month...

Beth of Pretty in Plus wearing last year's amazing smudge print jumpsuit, along with Katrin of Reizende Rundungen in our velvet puff sleeve tunic. Don't they look fabulous?

Nadia of My Stylish Life wears our amazingly popular black sequin blazer.

Laura of What Laura Loves dresses down for a shopping trip in our jeggings.

The adorable Plus Side of Me keeps it casual in our owl print t-shirt and a pair of our jeggings - the best she's ever worn!

Gaëlle-Vanessa of Les Pitreries de Vanoue looks casual but stylish in our animal print chiffon top.

Nefferth of Mode Plus looks simply divine in our animal print tights!

Claire of A Monkey Fatshionista debuts our new palazzo trousers and looks incredibly chic for Valentines Day.

Мария wears one of our knitted waistcoats and looks lovely and toasty!

Raynee wears one of our black tunics for a casual yet elegant Christmas.

Roxie looks like a bombshell in our black and white bandeau maxi...

Kelly-Jane pairs our sparkly lace shrug with our stunning black and silver maxi and a make-up mask!

Francine looks gorgeous in one of our Limited Collection nautical tops from last summer!

Jo looks prim and pretty in our Limited Collection cream and black vintage dress for a wedding.

Jennifer wearing our beautiful and colourful feather print maxi in white with teal coloured shrug...

...and our black floral print maxi and knitted shrug!

Jane wears our purple ruched dress, shrug and corsage, looking lovely!

BondGirl1981 Looks stunning in her silver shrug and maxi, and I think we have to agree she has the best accessory: that amazing hair colour!

Alexa gives a real goth edge to our black lace corset and looks amazing.

Louise wore our embellished satin tunic for her birthday, and looks gorgeous!

Just a heads up: as a lot of the things worn have been on the site for a long time there aren't many sizes left if they're even available, but those that are on site I have linked. Hope that's okay!

I think it's so inspiring to see all these ladies in their Yours outfits. I'm regretting not going for that black and silver maxi now...

I'd love to hear your thoughts! If you'd like to be featured in next month's round up, you can comment here, tweet me or post on our Facebook page. Can't wait to see your photos!

Lots of love,

Celebrity Look: Adele at the Brit Awards

Well hello there my dears - how have you all been? Hope you had a fantastic weekend! As we speak, our extra 20% off sale is STILL going strong, ending at midnight tonight GMT. So get in quick, there are some fab bargains to be had!

Did you all watch the Brit Awards this week? I missed most of it but even though I'm an indie girl at heart, I do have a massive soft spot for Adele. She's just so cute and has the most incredible, soulful voice. And she's always spot on with her fashion sense - clean, classic and elegant. Her Brits outfit was no exception...

What a beautiful dress! The lovely @JKimbers asked me if there was anything similar here at Yours Clothing, so I dug around and found some classic LBDs. Perhaps we can call them... AdeleBDs? Hmm, maybe not.

Clockwise from left:
Black Cape Sleeve Chiffon Tunic, £30 - COMING SOON
Long Tassel Earrings, £5
Black Rose Pleat Detail Top, £35
Black Rose Trim Chiffon Sleeve Tunic, £35
Black Plait Detail Dress, £25

What do you think peeps? Hope there's some LBDs that you'll love! Remember I'm always about if you have any questions or need any style advice - comment here, tweet me, or post on our Facebook page!

And if you have any photos of yourself wearing Yours, then I'd love to see it and feature it in our monthly "Who's Wearing Yours" round up later this week!

Spot the Difference - Yours vs Mulberry!

Hi everyone! Have you seen our fab deals this week? We first offered 20% off our sale dresses, which proved so popular we've now extended the offer to our sale knitwear and sale coats/jackets! We do like to spoil you...

As you probably know, Mulberry, like Chanel and Louis Vuitton, are one of those bag brands that are synonymous with luxury - having one of their bags is almost like a status symbol, and their designs are emulated no end on the high street!

This week I noticed one of our new shoulder bags bears more than a passing resemblance to Mulberry's Bayswater shoulder bag...

Now I'm not attempting to pull wool over your eyes - of course there is a vast difference in fabrics, construction, etc. But if you wanted the smart, understated Mulberry look without spending an entire month's wages, then you could do a lot worse than to buy Yours' Black Tote Bag for £12!

What do you think? Let me know by leaving a comment!

Lots of love and take care,

Lauren xx

Designer Look: Colour Shock!

Hiya peeps! Hope you're good today - have you taken advantage of our two fabulous deals yet? All of our sale dresses now have an extra 20% off for a limited time! As well as that, our jeans are £18 or two pairs for £35 (GBP only) which I think is a pretty good bargain, don't you?

What I really want to talk about today is the latest trend to hit Yours Clothing - it's all about brights! Bright colours were a huge trend at the Spring/Summer '11 catwalk season, with designers like Christopher Kane, Prada and Lanvin showcasing eye-popping hues on the runway.

Yours are not one to ignore a trend, so we've made sure to bring in tunics in a dazzling array of colours for you to experiment with. Here is my favourite dressed up look, inspired by Lanvin:

1. Hot Pink Drape Tunic, £16
2. Heart Necklace, £12
3. Grey Biker Jeggings, £22
4. Chain Handle Bag, £12
5. Aqua Chiffon Tunic, £32
6. Black Frill Skirt, £16
7. Black Footless Tights, £6
8. Black Tote Bag, £12

For more outfit inspiration, have a look at the Colour Shock Catwalk Collections page where we've styled colourful outfits in many different ways!

What do you think? Is this a bit too attention grabbing for you? If you fancy injecting some summer colour into your wardrobe, you can shop all of Colour Shock's individual items here.

As always I'd love to know your thoughts - remember you can comment here, tweet me or join our Facebook page!

Lots of love,

Yours' Spring/Summer Press Launch!

Hey everyone! Hope you had a wonderful weekend and Valentines Day yesterday! Remember we have lots of romantic themed ideas in our Valentines shop if you feel like a belated treat.

Last week was very exciting for the Yours camp, as it was the launch of our spring & summer collection and lookbook, which we presented to various journalists from The Sun, Look Magazine, Best, among others. It was a very posh affair including a dinner held at one of Gordon Ramsay's restaurants, Maze. A much more refined affair than my usual rack of ribs at Harvester...! Here are some quick snaps I took of the evening...

The lovely table setting, with a sneek peek of our lookbook photos on each table.

Before we tucked in to eat, Andrew, the owner of Yours, gave a speech about what he feels the company is about. He noted that the models used in our lookbooks are smaller than our customers, which I know is a contentious issue for a lot of women who feel under represented.

Loved the bouquets on each table, so pretty and smelled wonderful!

Journalists chatting beforehand.

As the launch was primarily about the clothes, Yours brought two rails of clothes featured in the lookbook for all the press to look at. I took some photos of my favourite pieces, too:

One of our two rails of samples!

This is definitely one of my favourites, a sheer white cape-sleeved blouse. Perfect for festivals!

Loved this take on the nautical theme, it's so cute and easy to wear.

This top is a colourful version of this chiffon tunic already available online and in store, where it's wildly popular. The journalists loved it, too!

Maxi dresses are still a big hit this summer, so naturally Yours have got loads! I loved the print on this, as well as a zigzag print maxi that all the journalists went gaga for, and a ditsy floral print one that is super cute.
This tunic has it all - leopard print, sheer chiffon, peter-pan collar, voluminous sleeves and a dipped hem. Amazing!

Thanks so much to Yours and Wingfield PR for letting me sit in on the event, it was fab! Keep your eyes peeled on our Facebook page, I've posted all the lookbook photos there and as always, I'd love to hear what you think!

Lots of love,

Lauren xx

Yours Clothing at Plus London!

Check me out, beaming with my Yours garb! Photo courtesy of Ellie.

Hey everyone, hope you're all having a fab Friday!

As you might know, as well as blogging for Yours Clothing I also have my own personal fashion blog, Pocket Rocket. The plus size fashion blogging community is so lovely and friendly, so this Saturday a few of us partied at Plus London, which I organised with the help of other bloggers, my friends - and my parents!

As I've since started working for Yours in my perfect job it was only natural that they got involved with the event, sponsoring the venue, donating beautiful scarves for the guests' goodie bags, and showcasing some of their summer collection. It was also really cool to see some bloggers looking amazing in Yours' very own designs! Here are some pictures...

Nefferth took this picture of bloggers Beth, Katrin and Devon, and Katrin is wearing our on-trend sheer black blouse during the day. How cool does she look?

A very unflattering photo of me in Yours' peter-pan collar dress which I love to bits and wore during the day. That's Messy Carla to my left.

A selection of Yours items, including 70s dresses, biker jeggings, chiffon tunics, and sheer shirts which the guests all loved.

Katrin styled her velvet tunic in a way I'd never have imagined! She is a punk rock fairy!

Isn't this photo of Beth and Katrin just wonderful?

Here's Theresa styling her Yours scarf on the night... it's a look.

Naomi loved her scarf and wore it to work this week, where everyone asked her where it was from!

So much style inspiration! It's so wonderful to see women being adventurous and daring with their clothes while plus size - and it's such an honour that they look to Yours Clothing to help them do that. Thanks so much, ladies!

Next week I'll be blogging about our summer press launch, which was so much fun! Remember in the meantime you can comment here, tweet me or get in touch via Facebook.

Have a wonderful weekend guys!

What Yours Are About: Great Fashion, Great Prices

Hi everyone! How are we all? Have you treated your loved one (that's including yourself) to one of our Valentines gifts yet? Only a few days to go...

I'd like to give you a little background info on Yours Clothing, and what we're all about. As you hopefully already know, Yours are dedicated to bringing women over a size 16 the latest fashions in a great quality. We know that the high street can feel alienating sometimes, so want to make sure those of you who may be larger - but still want to look and feel great - are catered for. But we also have another huge focus: our willingness to bring you these fashionable, good quality clothes for a great price. A lot of shops seem happy to force customers to pay extra for clothes in larger sizes, and we disagree! Why should you pay more for clothes that aren't always flattering or fashionable?

To that end, we've done a little digging from our competitors, and seen that it's working - check out the price differences!

Our super trendy bohemian tassle bag is less than half the price of Topshop's version.

Our beautiful animal print maxi will be great for the summer, and is also less than half the price of its closest rival!

Our new prim & proper, two-tone tea-dress is available for a little less at Yours.

A gorgeous black check shirt with military detail? Our version has all the quality and style, with a more appetising price tag!

A few marginal differences style wise, but you save £7 on our waterfall cardi!

A similar aesthetic but a dissimilar price - our slinky black satin tunic can turn heads for a lot less.

These lovely taupe tunics look alike but if you want something style yet on a small budget, you can go wrong with our voluminous sleeve top.

So there you have it! We do our best to bring you gorgeous clothes that fit and flatter all plus sized women without having to charge the earth for it. What do you think, peeps?

Lots of love!

Lauren xx
