Gloves, belts and bags - oh my!

Hello everyone! Can you believe the turn our weather has taken? I keep popping out to sit in the sunshine, it's wonderful!

I'm also really excited by the new accessories coming in from Yours' warehouse, and I've picked out my favourites here:

I just adore them all! Chic, ladylike and colourful - what's not to love? The colour pop leather gloves are genuine leather and come in three sizes, so you can be guaranteed a great fit. The studded bow belt is fab, a great bet to give the illusion of a nipped-in waist with your party dresses! The Chanel-esque quilted bag is a timeless classic, with both a comfortable shoulder fit and big enough to hold all your essentials. But my favourite thing about these accessories? The price, of course: everything is only £15 and under!

Mix & Match Winter's Brights

Hello everyone!

As Britain starts to wrap up warm with the oncoming winter, the one thing we've got to look forward to (apart from Christmas!) is the gorgeous fashion. Back in February designers were sending looks down the runway that were going to be copied as soon as the leaves started falling. As well as the gothic, 40's and menswear trends, there was a veritable riot of colour...

This year's colour blocking trend repeated, but this time all grown up - from summer's neon hues to jewel tones clashing and complimenting with equal measure this autumn and winter.

Most plus size women feel they won't get a chance to try out this trend, since most plus size shops are stocked full of blacks. But not here at Yours! We want to give you the choice to be as bright as you want to be!

Accentuate your legs!

When it comes to plus size clothing, the talk is always of "hiding", "covering" and "concealing" parts of the body you want to minimise. But what about if you have a body part you're proud of - what if you have something you want to show off? Even the least confident among us can find something they like about themselves - why not celebrate instead of hiding?

Yours know that plus size fashion is not just to hide, but to take accentuate and flatter the parts of your body you love (or at the very least, don't hate!) providing items that help you do just that! I'm picking out my favourite items that are perfect for showing off, starting with... LEGS!

When we spoke to Alison Hammond, she said that she absolutely loved her legs and took every opportunity to show them off. If you love your legs, why not adorn them with a pair of our gorgeous tights that have been made especially for taller women, and available up to size 32! The Henry Holland-esque suspender tights have been a fashion staple ever since Cheryl Cole was seen in a pair. Perfect for those of you who aren't afraid to wear skirts above the knee!

Celebrity Look: Adele at the VMA's

Hi everyone! Hope you had a fabulous bank holiday and enjoyed your extra day off? And for those of you who are celebrating, Eid Mubarak!

This week's celebrity look is a lady we all love, plus size soul singer Adele! Isn't she incredible? She stormed this week's MTV Music Video Awards and won three awards. She stuck to her signature black on the red carpet, but I still love her classic and elegant dress. And luckily, you can recreate her style courtesy of Yours!

I love how glamorous this outfit is, especially if you copy Adele's huge 60's bouffant and Dusty Springfield-esque eyeliner. Definitely one to save up for Christmas parties! The dress is so flattering for us plus size women, with its v-neck and sleeves that means you don't need a shrug. If you'd rather not wear head to toe black like Adele, we have grey, navy and electric blue versions of the dress - the accessories will still work perfectly.

Celebrity Look: Agyness Deyn

Hello everyone, did you have a great weekend, enjoying the sunshine? Our Merry Hill store took part in the centre's Faces of Fashion event, so let me know if you went down! As well as that, our online mid season sale is still going strong, with even more reductions added today - check it out!
