Lauren's Fashion Fixer: Tights

Hey everyone! Hope you're well and looking forward to the weekend! And to all our lovely Irish customers, hope you had a great St Patrick's Day - did you get our special offer in your inbox? Hope you did, as it's still valid today!

When I was younger and a self-proclaimed goth, I used to be absolutely in love with coloured and patterned tights - but as you can imagine, because I was plus sized I could never find any to fit. I remember going to Camden with my friends and staring longingly at the rows of patterned tights... Fast forward 10 years, and Yours have brought out a range of pattered and coloured tights! See peeps, patience definitely *is* a virtue! I'm no longer a goth, but here are some looks I've created - let me know what you think!

I am really so in love with this look. Soft grey is a beautifully delicate colour - plus size women are told they shouldn't wear light colours on their legs, but worn with high heels that elongate the leg they look chic, trendy and pretty!

Shoes, Schuh

The folky floral look is huge on the high street this summer and here's a version you can get almost exclusively at Yours with tights to make your legs really stand out. Simply add a a floppy felt hat and you're ready for a festival!

This is one for all you sexy disco divas! Inspired by the 70s trend that's absolutely huge at the moment, I've added our black leopard print tights for something a little bit different. The tunic is rather short, so if you're a little more modest pair with a black tube skirt underneath.

Well, I hope you liked these looks! Is there anything you'd like me to cover on the blog? Let me know in the comments, tweet me or leave a message on our facebook page. Can't wait to hear from you!

Have a great weekend peeps,

  1. I love the first one Delicate Vintage although the collar is not much my style but the tights are!!

And I am also happy with the way the Disco Leopard was portrayed and set up yet I do not see myself wearing the shoes in the number two and those tights.

    Well done Lauren as always!
