Hey everyone! It’s getting closer and closer to Christmas, are you excited? I can’t wait!
As a major fashion geek I’m always looking at clothes that I can’t fit into, never mind afford – but that’s why I love the high street, as they tend to reflect what’s been on the catwalks but are affordable and actually in my size.
Sass & Bide are an Australian-based design duo who have been going from strength to strength, showing at London Fashion Week every season. Their most popular dress this year has been the “Higher Ground” dress, seen on a multitude of fashionable celebrities such as Kim Kardashian, Charlotte Church and even Beyonce herself! At £1,300 and in a very limited size range, I assumed it was out of my league. But guess what I found…
That’s right – Yours’ Limited Collection has a Sass & Bide influenced tunic up to size 32, and at £30, check out that price difference! The Yours tunic is less busy but it’s still incredibly classy and unique. I think it’d look fantastic with these wet-look leggings and some black boots to wear down the pub on Christmas Eve.
What do you think, girls? I’d love to hear your feedback!

All women should be able to look and feel fabulous, regardless of their size. In sizes 14-32, Yours make sure you can rock the latest high street trends! http://www.yoursclothing.co.uk

Yours Stores: Ilford and Romford
Hello everyone, hope you're all well and enjoying the dusting of snow! Don’t forget to send us your outfit photos so we can feature them on the blog!
Being an Essex girl, I'm lucky enough to live close to two Yours Clothing stores - lucky me! I've been a regular to the Yours shop in Romford for years, and recently another opened in Ilford which is even closer. I decided to pop down and visit both and take some photos to share with you all on the blog. Let me know what you think!
ILFORD
The first thing I noticed about the new Ilford store was how big it was, and it's in a great location, too - on the 1st floor of the Ilford Exchange, next to Clintons. The black, white and pink colour theme is my favourite, so I loved the decor and how everything was laid out - especially the dressing rooms with their silver brocade print wallpaper - methinks I need some of that for a bedroom makeover!
As you can see, I tried on the military dress, sequin dress and tassle dress. All were lovely and super comfortable, but the military dress was just so great and easy to wear that I snapped it up straight away.
I spoke to the lovely Emma, Ilford's keyholder (I keep wanting to say Keymaster, like in Ghostbusters!), who said that though she had only been with the company for three weeks she absolutely loved it. "The response has been amazing, everyone is so happy they've opened a Yours here." We also chatted about how much we love the clothes - Emma was wearing the military dress in grey stripes with leggings. "I practically live in this dress - and I've even sold a few as customers really liked how it looked on me! We're getting a purple version in soon. I checked it out on the website and it's gorgeous, I can't wait for it to come in!"
ROMFORD
I've shopped in Yours' Romford store for many years and the staff have always been so lovely, friendly and helpful!
At this store I tried on the lace accented maxi dress, One shoulder chiffon animal print tunic, and a flower print velvet tunic along with their bow belt. I loved all three but I'd definitely wear both tunics with leggings as they are of course quite short.
In store I spoke to Briony, also a keyholder. She started as Christmas temp three years ago while studying, but fell in love with the job and has stayed there ever since. We talked about the difference it makes actually being Yours customers as well as working there: "It means we understand where other customers are coming from, we understand their insecurities and what they might want to hide. And there are regulars who pop in 2 or 3 times a week, it's really social!" Briony told me she had been waiting for ages for nudes and pinks to make it into store, and is so happy they've come in!
Do any of you lovely readers visit these Yours stores? If you do, say hi! I’d love to hear more about your local Yours shops and maybe even come visit one day!
Lots of love,

This Week's Look: Burlesque
Hello everyone, how are we all today?
First of all, don't forget to send me your favourite outfit photos featuring Yours Clothing items as I really want to feature you on the blog!
Earlier this week London hosted the UK premiere for the Christina Aguilera and Cher movie Burlesque, said to be a cross between Chicago and Coyote Ugly. Naturally, everyone's outfits on the red carpet reflected the Burlesque theme - my favourites were Aguilera herself and Immodesty Blaize, the UK's no 1 Burlesque artist.
While I can give or take Burlesque itself, I have always adored the dark, sultry, vintage look that it inspires, what with all that lace, all those sequins and feathers! I'm not the only one - the look is incredibly popular at the moment, and designer Zac Posen dedicated his most recent runway show to the Burlesque look.
I thought I'd come up with some Burlesque-inspired outfits made from items at Yours Clothing. There was actually so much to choose from, but I managed to whittle it down to three whole outfits - though believe me, I could have gone on all day! Hopefully if you've been struggling for a great look for your Christmas Party, they might provide a smidgen of information!
Outfit 1:
Tassell Dress £35,
Small Fake Fur Bag £10
Red Sequin Shrug £25
Shoes from Schuh
Outfit 2:
Sequin Dress £35
Black Fake Fur Jacket £34
Sequin Clutch £10
Shoes from Bordello
,bustier
Outfit 3:
Red Lace Bustier £15
Black Velvet Mini £16
Lace & Sequin Bustier £16
Lace Panel Clutch £12
Fishnet Hold-Ups £8
Shoes form Schuh
What do you think? I'm a huge fan of black and red together, but if you fancy a different colour scheme in outfit 1 then the sequin shrugs are also available in black, purple and pewter. If you're not keen on the red bustier, you'll be happy to know it's also available in black and silver lurex, purple or nude.
Hope you've enjoyed this post! If you have any other fashion themes you'd like me to explore then don't hesitate to either comment here or leave a message on the Yours Clothing facebook group!

Hello Again!
Hey everyone, this is Lauren again - how are you? Thanks so much for your feedback on my first post for Yours Clothing! I had such a great day and can't wait to go back and catch up with the team.
I thought I'd continue introducing myself and show you a couple of my favourite outfits that featured Yours Clothing items this year. For my blog, I have taken pictures of my favourite outfits and shared them. It's really inspired me to be more experimental with my clothes, and see exactly what suits me - and what doesn't!
This dogtooth tunic was from Yours' Limited Collection earlier in the year, and is my favourite ever purchase. I dressed it up here with tomato-red tights and pretty shoes, but I've also worn it dressed down with leggings and boots. I just love its versatility and it's of a great quality, too!
This was a particularly eye-catching outfit - only to be worn on special occasions! This features a belt from Yours Clothing. I saw it in the shop and fell in love immediately. It has interlocking metal clasps which are so unique, and also sequins for a bit of bling! The back is elasticated, so it's super comfortable as well as looking extremely glam!
This is my most recent outfit, featuring the black fake fur jacket and a bandage pencil skirt from Yours Clothing. It's my favourite skirt - it's so comfortable but looks really smart, and of course goes extremely well with pretty much anything.
The jacket was a gift from Yours, and I love it so much. I am a real fan of fake fur so I'm extremely happy to add it to my collection! The jacket is also available in camel, which is THE colour this season.
So now you've seen my outfits - now I want to see yours!
Do you have any pictures of your favourite Yours Clothing outfits or purchases? I'd love to show them off on the blog! You can comment with a link here, or, if you're on Facebook, add and tag your photos with Leigh, or join the Yours Clothing group and upload them there. I'll then make a blog post with all of your lovely photos.
Lots of love,

Hello Everybody!
Allow me to introduce myself: I’m Lauren, I’m 26 and from Chigwell in Essex and for the past year I have run the personal fashion blog, Pocket Rocket Fashion.
As someone who has always been big and yet always interested in fashion, I’ve found shopping for clothes that were flattering and on trend difficult all through my teens – and dieting to fit in Miss Selfridge just never seemed to work for me! My godmother introduced me to Yours Clothing in Raleigh when I was 18, and I’ve been a huge fan of the brand ever since for their affordable fast fashion that actually fits!
Yours Clothing have kindly allowed me to take over their blog for the forseeable, which is really exciting to me! I have some really exciting projects that I want to share with you, but more importantly I want to hear your feedback and just chat to you about fashion. This blog will be as much your blog as it will ours. Keep an eye out for ways you can be featured on the blog very soon. For now, I’ll let you know about my first day! After a chat with Leigh I was taken on a mini tour of Yours HQ and met the team (whom I’ll be introducing to you soon). After a yummy lunch I got to go round their massive warehouse and pick out my favourite pieces. I was like a kid in a candy store, as you can see:
One thing you guys have to know about me is that I am a bit of a poser – Your’s lovely photographer took some pictures of me in my absolute favourites:
What do you guys think? Let me know if you have any suggestions or other fave items! You can e-mail: leigh@yoursclothing.co.uk and he’ll pass them on to me.
Speak to you all soon
